TWENTY TOILERS KILLED
COLLAPSE OF BUILDING DISASTER AT VINCENNES (United Service) PARIS, Friday. Twenty workmen were killed in the collapse of a seven-storey apartment building which was being erected in the Rue Jarry at Vincennes. Eye-witnesses say the building seemed to split in two and fall asunder. The builder had taken up his residence in the completed section, but was absent at the time of the accident. On returning he was overcome by the scene of ruin, and attempted to blow out his brains.
