BURGLARY AT HAMILTON
TOBACCONIST’S SHOP ENTERED (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. A further burglaxy has been reported to the police, this time from Frankton. Mr. Doleman, tobacconist, of Commerce Street, Frankton, yesterday missed a silver watch from a drawer at the shop. This puzzled him, as he knew nobody on the premises was likely to have committed the theft. He made further investigations and discovered a quantity of tobacco was stolen and that the front door had been forced, although the lock was not actually wrenched off. Indications point to the burglary having occurred on the night of October 17, although the discovery was only made yesterday.
