Auckland, has Tt turned to .duty after being on holiday. Mr. Walter Monk, of J. C. William*on Ltd., arrived from Wellington this morning: on the Limited. Mr. D. Hebonton, ofßcial Reform organiser, arrived from the South this morning by the Limited. Dr. J. J* North, who has been visiting Christchurch, returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited. Sir Joseph Ward will return to Wellington this evening. He has completed his public engagements in Auckland. Mr. J- Mclntosh, newly appointed Collector of Customs for Auckland, look his first case in the Police Court this morning. Mr. Mclntosh was transferred from Dunedin and succeeded Mr. A. V. Penn, who retired recently.
