(From Our Oion Correspondent) OPOTHCI. To-day. Dan Rewiri, Mate Mokomoko, Eru Tai, and Porangi Tai were charged in the Police Court to-day with theft from a dwelling-house. The police evidence showed that the acused, while pig-hunting, made a nuisance of themselves by driving sheep otf the hills. Then they stole food from the house of C. W. Reid, a farmer. Waioeka Rewiri and Mokomoko were each sentenced to a week’s imprisonment, and Eru and Porangi Tai to two weeks in gaoL
