EMPIRE FORESTRY DELEGATES

VISIT TO WAIOTAPU Press Association ROTORUA, To-day. The Empire Forestry delegates arrived at Rotorua last evening after an exhaustive examination of Waiotapa and Kaingaroa plantations. The keenest interest was taken in the forests and their growth, which excited the admiration of the visitors. In the evening they were accorded a civic reception, and the Maoris gave an entertainment in their honour. Mr. P. Z. Caverhill said that New Zealand could give points to other countries in the varieties of trees planted and the growth made. To-day they will visit the State nurseries.
