Carter, who was fined 10s and costs at the Magistrate’s Court this morning for allowing cattle to wander in the Tamaki district. “Both horses belonged to me, yet I get two ’bluies’ ordering me to attend the Court at dates several days apart. The ranger has done that so that he will get two days’ pay instead of one.” It was explained that there were two separate offences.
