SUGGESTION AT CONFERENCE Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Immigration questions as affecting New Zealand were discussed to-day when representatives of 46 societies, which approached Mr. L. S. Amery on the subject some months ago, met Mr. F. Skevington, who took the place of Lord Lovat, who is indisposed. The Hon. A. ID. McLeod was present. The principal speaker was Mr. A. Leigh Hunt, who advocated opening the way for large companies at Home to take up land development by immigrants as a commercial enterprise.
