FROSTS AT TE KUITI
Sharp frosts have been experienced at Te Kuiti during the past two nights, and much damage has been done to early vegetables. Potatoes have been considerably blackened by the frost, while tomato plants have received a big setback. Orchards, have also suffered damage, even those on the hills not escaping the visitation. A marked effect on the fruit crop is inevitable.
