Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Rev. W. J. Elliott; president, Mr. Evans; secretai-y, Mr. T. C. Seaton; treasurer. Mr. Evans; captain, Mr. Seaton; vicecaptain, Mr. R. Geraghty; committee, Misses I. Richardson, H. Beams and M. Mack, Mrs. Huckstep, and Messrs. W. Kitson, R. Collecutt, Geraghty and Seaton. The opening of the courts was fixed for Saturday next. Tauhei.—Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Mr. A G. Paton; president, Mr. P. Clark; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. Rolling and C. Taylor; secretary, Mr S. Brown; auditor, Mr. J. Brown; committee. Mrs. F. Curphy, Misses M. Smith, E. Ward and Messrs. F. Curphy, T/ C. Cheeseman, R. Haycock and F. Jack. The balance sheet showed a credit of £24 7s 2d. It was decided to open the season on Saturday next.
