SHIP’S OIL FUEL AFIRE

MAN KILLED, SEVERAL HURT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) NEW YORK, Saturday. A message from Portlaud Oregon, says the British cargo steamer Tiojanstar, from Shields, England, to British Columbia ports, caught fire when she was off the coast of Northern California. Her fuel oil was blazing and ships hurried to aid her. The fire was extinguished. One loan was killed and several were Injured. A ship is standing by the Trojanstar. The Trojanstar is a vessel of ‘1,002 tons, built at Dunkirk In 1916 (formerly La P«rous*> and owned by the Blue Stnr Uine, Ltd.. London.
