The Mayor of Dargaville, Mr. F. A. Jones, is visiting Auckland. Mr. K. D. I*. Murray, of Auckland, left Wellington to-day by the Port punedin for London. Dr. H. L. Gould, of the Auckland Hospital, left for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Guests at the Rotary Club’s luncheon to-day were Messrs. F. G. Wayne and T. W. Hetherington (Thames). The members of the New Zealand Parliamentary delegation are expected l 0 return from Canada on October 22. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager New Zealand Railways, returned to Wellington by the Limited last evening. Sir Charles Skerrett, Chief Justice, who last week underwent a second severe operation at Wellington, is making satisfactory progress.—P.A. Major Frank Andrews, 0.8.
