Luck often plays an important part in the making of a feature production, as was proven during the filming of “Fleetwing,” a story of Arabia. Most of the scenes were made in the Mojave desert. A sand storm was hoped for, to add realism to the production—and it came. It was the worst storm, according to guides, in 20 years. It did considerable damage to the movie outfit, but the cameras succeeded in catching all its impressiveness. Barry Norton, Dorothy Jannis and Ben Bard have the leading roles in this production.
