“DIAMOND HANDCUFFS” AT GRAND

“Diamond Handcuffs” is the big picture to be shown- at the Grand Theatre this evening. The story is a gripping drama in which the adventures of a great diamond, from its discovery in the African mines, through theft, intrigue and into the underworld, are shown in a rapid sequence of events. The cast is a notable one, including Eleanor Boardman and Conrad Nagel. Elaborate settings, showing an African diamond mine in operation, gorgeous night clubs and other details add to this dramatic story. A gangster battle in a city street, with police and gangsters in a machine-gun war, is one of the sensational scenes in this film. .
