HAMILTON BURGLARIES
Two more burglaries were reported to the Hamilton police to-day. The premises of the Firestone Tyre Company. tVood Street, were broken into last evening, and a small amount of cash was taken. Entry was effected bv forcing the lock on the front door. An intruder who broke into the premises of Bond's Book Company. Ltd., stationers, in Victoria Street, last night, got only a surprise. A door was forced at the rear and the intruder, who evidently expected to enter thcshop by this means, was unexpectedly checked by a recently-erected partition. The room to which he had pained access contained only a ■ quantity of machinery.
