NO SUPPORT FOR CORNWELL CUP CONTEST Press Association DUNEDIN, "Wednesday. At a meeting of the Otago Yacht and Motor-boat Association to-night, it was decided to issue a challenge for the Sanders Cup. Some discussion took place regarding the Cornwell Cup contest. The unsatisfactory conclusion of the last: contest was referred to, and the association decided to take no part in a Cornwell Cup contest conducted by the Takapuna Boating Club. The president of the association said’ the Sanders Cup contest was the premier event of the year, and he thought it the duty of the association to support it and help to keep it always before the public. It was decided to sail three or more trial races for the purpose of selecting Otago’s challenger for the cup. *
