BELMONT CLUB EVENT Medals and shields won during the year by members of the Belmont Association Football Club were presented at the annual social last evening by Mr. R Harrison. Mr. Harrison pointed out that the sixth grade and seventh grade teams had won their championships with 63 wins to *three losses. Medals were given to the players of the sixth and seventh grade for championships, and also to the most improved players in each team. These were: Seniors, R. Bach, third ,T. Robinsonc third, L. Wallis; fourth, J. Brentnall; fifth, C. Ash win; sixth, B. Smith; seventh A. Frank Williamson; seventh, A. East. A medal for tho most consistent player in the senior team was given by Mr R. Taylor, and was awarded to W. Lithgow. The Read Cup for the most improved team was given to the senior grade. The\Harrison Shield, for the team with the best record was given to the seventh A team. club committee gave a silver cigarette case to the secretary, Mr. M. Kay. Dancing was held, and musical and vocal items were given by Mrs. E. Blenkarne, Miss Doris Moore, Mr. J. Pikesley, and Mr. F. Hickman.
