NEW USE FOR LIP-STICK
STRIKE BANNER INSCRIBED (United. Service) LONDON, Wednesday. Seven hundred talloresses are on strike at Edmonton, near London, owing to their employers' refusal to discharge a non-unionist. The strikers to-day marched four abreast to the factory gates. They carried a banner ou which was an announcement of their adherence to trades union principles. This inscription was written in r3d letters a foot long with the women’s lipsticks.
