“Mo Chong He Ye”
“ jyjOA’G Chong He Ye” or “The Uprising of the Republic of China ” trill be celebrated by the Chinese residents of Auckland to-morrow. Business trill be suspended for the day, all shops being closed.. The principal celebration trill be at Ferndale, where a picnic at which 600 people are expected to be present, is being held. English and Chinese sports events are on the programme. Buses for the picnic are leaving Civic Square at 10 o’clock.
The present Republic was founded 17 years ago.
