MORRINSVILLE LOSES PEACE CUP AT TAURANGA

(From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, Saturday

The final game of football fort the season was played to-day on the Domain. The match was a Peace Cup contest between Morrinsville and Tauranga, and resulted in a win for Tauranga by 11 points to 7. Morrinsville led by seven points to three at half-time, but Tauranga added eight points in the second spell, and Morrinsville failed to score. Mulcahy potted a goal for Morrinsville, and F. Thomas scored an unconverted try. The winners’ total was made up of tries by Ikanui, W. Turner, and T. Tangitu, one being converted by Tangitu.
