THIRD REMAND GRANTED
WHANGAREI SECRETARY NINE CHARGES PENDING (From Our' Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. F. W. Webster, charged with the theft of £235 12s, the property of his employers, the Whangarei Co-op. Building Society, was remanded for .the third time by Air. J. H. Luxford. S.M.. at the Whangarei Police Court this morning, owing to lack of the evidence of Air. A. M. Rust, an auditor, who is at present in hospital. The magistrate, in spite of orders made on both previous remands by the presiding J.P., refused to suppress accused's name. Bail was allowed on two sureties of £250 each and his own of £250. Nine further charges. involving approximately £1.400, are pending.
