THE DOCTOR GAVE PERMISSION In a well-known private hospital in Christchurch recently, one of the patients developed a very bad cough. He requested the nurse on duty to buy him a bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver, but quite naturally the sister refused to let him have it without the doctor’s permission. Nothing relieves a cold or a chill so ! speedily as “Baxter’s.” It is rich, red, warming and soothing, and does you good from the very first dose —possesses unique tonic properties that help to build up the system. Obtainable at all chemists and stores in three sizes: Generous-sized bottle 2s 6d, family size 4s 6d, and bachelor ; size eighteenpence. 4.
