Knocked Down by Car.—Mr. Ernest Maybury, of Mangere, employed by the Shell Company of New Zealand, Limited, was knocked off his motor-cycle in front of the Kauri Timber Company’s yards this morning-. He received severe head injuries, and was taken to the hospital by the -St. John Ambulance suffering from concussion.
