SUN COMMERCIAL SERVICE T.D., Parnell: The debentures are not listed on ’Change. They have a market price of approximately £9B. We have not heard of any recent sales, b.ut the market has ha'd a firming tendency over the past six months, t ravelling Salesman,” Huntly: We know of quite a number of similar concerns with salesmen on the road seeking to dispose of the scrip. As a sound investment they are certainly not to be recommended. At the best they can only be regarded as a long-shot speculation. In any case the statements in the prospectus do not coincide with actual experience. A. 8., Hamilton: Net assets were shown in the last balance sheet at approximately 24s 7d per each fully-paid £1 share. The company has paid a steady 7h per cent, over the past five years and, although the surplus for transfer to reserves during the past two years has not been large, the scrip is considered a reasonably sound investment. The market at the moment is quite high enough, however.
