PRESENTATION FROM STAFF

MENTAL HOSPITAL WORKER Yesterday a social and dance was given by the staff of the Auckland Mental Hospital in honour of Mr. F. Lang, the head attendant, who is retiring on superannuation after 10 years of service in Auckland. Dr. H. M. Priris spoke of Mr. Lang’s fine work and, on behalf of the staff, presented him with a silver tea-set, a set of bowls and a case of pipes. A letter of appreciation of Mr. Lang’s work was read from Dr. r. G. Gray, Director-General of Mental Hospitals, who was unable to be present on account of business in Wellington.
