FIERCE SYDNEY FIRE
FIVE MEN INJURED Reed. 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A fierce fire in Elizabeth Street, Paddington, destroyed several shops and two factories, while five men, including two firemen, were injured. Damage of over £12,000 was done. There was a thrilling spectacle when an avalacnhe of bricks fell, some of which struck firemen and spectators. The burned premises were insured with the National Insurance Company of Mew Zealand.
