MOTOR-CYCLE STRIKES POST

ONE YOUTH INJURED (Special to THE SUE) PALMERSTON N., Thursday. Suffering from a compound fracture of the left thigh, a fracture of two bones in the left ankle and of a bone in the left forearm, the result of a motor-cycle accident, William Eaton, aged 17. has been admitted to hospital. The lad and two companions were proceeding along Ashhurst Road in a motor-cycle and side-car, when the machine skidded and struck a heavy fencing post. The cycle was ridden by B. Flanagan, with Eaton in the sidecar, the third youth, G. King, pillionriding on the back.
