CHARGE REFUTED IN CANADA (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. WINNIPEG, Thursday. “There is no foundation for the charge made by Bishop Lloyd here on Wednesday, that there has been a deliberate attempt to keep Britons from Canada,” said the Minister of Immigration, the Hon. Robert Forke. “We are doing everything possible to bring to Canada Britous willing and capable to work on the farms.”
