DEATH OF NOTED MAORI
Press Association GISBORNE, Monday. The death occurred suddenly from heart trouble of Mr. Thomas Halbert, one of the most prominent Maori residents on the East Coast, aged 64 years. He was well known throughout New Zealand, particularly in the North Island.
