ARBITRATION COURT
VERY SHORT SESSION FREEZING WORKERS’ DiSPOTE The session of the Arbitration Court which began in Auckland this morning will be one of the shortest for a considerable time. The Court will sit for only six full days, one of -which—next Monday—will be at Hamilton, where one case will be heard. The principal item will l>9 the freezing workers’ dispute. The Court, consisting of Mr. Justice Frazer and Messrs. G. T. Booth and A. L. Monteith, employers’ and employees’ assessors respectively, will leave for the South on Thursday evening, October 4. The fixture list is as follows: September 27.—G00d v. Birkenhead and Northcote Gas Company, Ltd.; Veralla v. Auckland Bottle Company, Ltd. September 28.—Apprenticeship matters; tallymen’s dispute. October I.—Court at Hamilton. October 2.—Court at Auckland; Walker v. Endean; Birchall v. City Council; Corcoran v. Alexander. October 3. —Holler v. Radley and Co., Ltd.; Porola v. W. G. Armstrong Whitworth Co., Ltd.; Oevich v. Barbarich and another. October 4.—Freezing workers* depute.
