KING’S STEEPLECHASE
BROWNE’S GOOD PERFORMANCE RECORD BROKEN The annual six mile steeplechase of King’s College was run yesterday. A large number of entries wa-s received and a good race resulted in Ball winning off the four minute mark in 38min 25sec. Last year’s record of 35min 35sec was beaten by Browne, who ran the distance in 34min 42sec. The result is as follows: BALL (4min), 38min 25sec 1 BROWNE (scr.) 34mm 42sec 2 SHAW ( —) 36min 12see 3
