A SPLENDID TROTTER
TAMERLANE is bowling along A freely on the New Brighton course. The son of Petereta —Miss Hugo ran a good race in the open 10 furlongs at New Brighton and showed the way for a considerable distance, but failed over the last furlong. Last season Bussell’s trotter saluted the judge on four occasions. He is one of the fittest horses in training at the seaside course at present, and he should add a little spice to any race he contests from now on, and when he enters such high-class square* gaited events as the Dominion Handicap and Rowe Cup will make his presence felt.
