SETTLERS WANT NEW ROAD
TAUPAKI TO MURIWAI An application to the Government by the settlers of the Taupaki and Muriwai districts, asking that a road be formed to give a short route between Taupaki and the Muriwai Valley, was supported by the Waitemata County Council at yesterday's meeting. This support is subject to any grant from the Government not coming out of the annual county allocations. The estimated cost of the work im 63.600.
