HANDED BACK TO CLUB BULLDOG CLUB TROPHY A fine bronze cast of a bulldog, one t,f the National Bulldog Club’s most valued trophies, which, as the result of a court action, has been in the care of Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., since August 36, was returned to the club officials this morning. Last month Messrs. W. 11. Worrall and J. W. Cummins, trustees of the National Bulldog Club of New Zealand, sued Mr. W. J. Dunne for the trophy, which is valued at £ 10, and £5 general damages, stating that defendant had refused to give up the trophy, which was the property of the club. Plaintiffs were represented by Mr. L. F. Rudd. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., adjourned the case until the club’s next show, stating that he would take care of the trophy until then. This morning plaintiffs waited on Mr. Hunt and announced that they were holding a show at Epsom to-day, and the trophy was accordingly handed over. On the application of Mr. J. J. Sullivan, costs were awarded to defendant.
