LITIGANTS AGREE
COUNCIL AND FARMER (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. A case in which C. R. Dean, farmer, Maungatautari, claimed £5,456 from the Cambridge Borough Council for taken loss of water, and general ! nvpnience in connection with the council? gravitation water supply was to have commenced this schern , justice Blair, but bXfthfcourf opened, the parties reached an agreement. The basis of the agreement was that the council is to pay to Dean £l.lOO in full compensation, each to mv its own expenses; also, the council is to hand back to the property r a spring not in us** at present or required by the council for its water scheipe.
