TRY-OUT FOR DERBY CANDIDATES
THE Great Northern Derby can- . didate, Wrackeen (Wrack — Pansy) and Wrackler (Wrack — Trix Pointer), owned by Mr. H. F. Nicoll, will have a preliminary for their classic engagements at Ashburton to-morrow, where two light harness heats find a place on the racing club’s programme. Their display will be watched with interest and should throw some light on their prospects of defeating Grand Light, Sonoma Child and Trustworthy next month.
