r PHE Trial Plate at Ashburton to - A- morrow contains a number of three-year-olds in its field of 19. Those that could be mentioned are Chide, Impertinence, First Raid, The Viscount, and Rigmarole, all hailing Riccarton stables. Of these, Chide was regarded last season as a two-year-old approaching classic standard, and so the showing on his part to-morrow will be followed with interest. Another useful sort is the Chokebore representative, Impertinence.
