W.C.T.U. CONVENTION

The Manawatu District Union Convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held at Palmerston North, a large number of delegates being present. Mrs. Ferguson was re-elected president, the recording corresponding secretary being Mrs. Wakeham, and the treasurer Mrs. Singh, all of Palmerston North. Several-remits were drawn up for the annual Dominion convention.
