SOLD TO ENGLISH CONCERN (From Our Own CorrespondentJ DUNEDIN, Thursday. The directors of the New Zealand Sugar of MiHc Company, which hap a factory at Edendale, Southland, have reported to shareholders that, subject to the latter’s approval, they have accepted the offer of Whey Developments, Limited, of England, to purchase the company as a going concern. purchase price represents a return of £1 10s, by way of cash and preferential shares, for each £1 share. Mr. J. G. Neil, chairman of directors, states that Whey Developments, Limited, is* opening up other factories n New Zealand, besides works in England. he present directors of the • Sugar of Milk Company will form the New Zealand hoard of the new company.
