DEATH OF DOCTOR’S WIFE KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAM “The evidence of eye-witnesses showed that it was a pure accident,” said .the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at’ an inquest held this afternoon concerning the death of Mrs. Grace Dukes.

Mrs. Dukes, wife of Dr. Dukes, of 3 Glenside Terrace, Auckland, was knocked down by a tram on the evening of September 4. The evidence showed that it was raining heavily at the time and that Mrs. Dukes’s view was obscured by her umbrella. In returning the verdict of accidental de»ih the coroner said that no blame was attachable to anyone.
