U.S. OLYMPIC ATHLETES MAY TOUR DOMINION

Mr. George Krogness, of San Francisco, American representative of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, has been invited by the Athletic Council to nominate a team of three athletes to tour Xew Zealand this summer. A sprinter, a middledistance man and a field events ;nan are requested. Possibilities for the tour are Osborne, the brilliant all-rounder who won the Decathlon at the Olympic Games of 1924, with a record score, and Borah, a young sprinter of class and great promise, and nephew of the famous Senator Borah. Osborne has been anxious to make the trip out here, so if he is still able to travel the New Zealand Association hopes to get him. Borah is considered by Mr. Krogness to have a great future. Another Olympic man is also to *>• asked to make teh trip.
