NIAGARA SAILS FOR N.Z

DOMINION BOWLERS ABOARD (Australian. and N.Z. Press Association) Recd. 10.43 a.m. VANCOUVER, Wed. Amid the cheers 0: a big crowd, the Niagara sailed today for New Zea,land. The Australian Scottish party, some of the New Zealand bowlers and Lord Lovat are aboard. The Australians sang favourite old songs to the onlookers, and were given a great send-off. There are 479 passengers, and a cargo of 3,700 tons of apples, onions, salmon and lumber. A United Service message says a party of 23 of the New Zealand bowlers departed by the Niagara. The remainder are going south to San Francisco, where they will depart in a. fortnight after games there. The president, Mr. Hardley, invited the British Columbia bowlers to return the visit.
