APOLOGY TO MR. SASTRI GENERAL HERTZOG’S MESSAGE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10 a.m. CAPETOWN, Tues. In connection with the Klerksdorp incident, in which stink-bombs and insults were flung when the Hon. V. S. Srinivasa Sastri, Agent-General in South Africa for India, was addressing a gathering, the Premier, General Hertzog, has telegraphed to Mr. Sastri his heartfelt apologies for the “unwarrantable insult to you and your country.” He condemned the incident as the cowardly conduct of these hooligans.”
