GOOD-BYE HOMEWORK?
“Homework is unnecessary and undesirable in the opinion of the Auckland City School Committee. It wrote to the Auckland Education Board to-day, asking whether the abolition of homework in city schools was practicable and, if so, what steps should be taken to bring that about. The board received the letter and referred it to the senior inspector for a report.
