NO TOUTING
“There is no sign of touting by teachers in the Papakura district,” said the chairman of the Education Board, Mr. A. Burns, to-day, when he had heard reports of the investigation carried out. “The teacher who was taking children to the school was doing it at a lose and only at the strong wish of the headmaster, because the Cievedon «bus did not suit. The children had always gone to the Papakura school, and so there was no touting to get pupils from Ardmore. The board is perfectly satisfied with the explanation.”
