SOUTHERN CROSS FLAG
TO BE RAFFLED FOR HOSPITAL “C.T.’S” TO ASSIST SALE Arrangements for the disposal of the silken flag carried by the Southern Cross flyers were detailed at the meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board held yesterday. The chairman, Mr. W. Wallace, *aid that one of the flags brought to New Zealand by the airmen was on view in Auckland and would be disposed of to raise money for hospital purpose.* It had been decided to raffle each flag in order that everyone would have the opportunity of participating, and the necessary permission had been secured. The tickets would be sold at one shilling each, and the commercial travellers in Auckland had expressed their willingness to give every assistance and take over the control of the sales.
