Masonic Ball
Mark Master Masons Entertain Friends \ ANNUAL FUNCTION The Newton Lodge of Mark Master Masons held its annual ball in the Masonic Hall, Belgium Street, last evening. The ballroom was gaily decorated with garlands of flowers and red and blue streamers, and bright balloons. Excellent dance music was supplied by Morrow’s Orchestra. On the supper tables were slim vases of Iceland poppies. Bro. H. A. H. Harrison " elcomed the guests. An enjoyable programme had been arranged, and included Items by Mrs. Eva Sharp, Miss Laura Walker, Bro. Sergt-Major HorI'oeks, and Bro. Bennett. Mrs. Adeane, who received the guests, wore * a frock of figured crepe de chine. The guest of the evening, Miss Mabel Me--Carthy, wore a frock of havana lace, f and hand-embroidered shawl.
