PRINCE EDWARD
MARY PICKFORD STORY Mary Pickford’s latest picture, “My Best Girl,” will be shown at the Prince Edward Theatre this evening. “My Best Girl” is the story of a shop girl, Maggie Johnson, who, through all the hard knocks she receives, still retains a belief in better things. She is an enigma to her own family, who cannot understand the idealism with which she paints out the shadows in their lives. At the store she meets a new employee, Joe Grant, with whom she falls in love. She has no idea that he is the son of her employer. It is a marvellous romance of two youngsters walking headlong and blindfolded into the trap that Fate has set for them. “Soft Living” starring Madge Bellamy, is the second feature. “THE YELLOW LILY” AT EMPIRE “The Yellow Lily,” a story qf romance at the Hungarian court, will be shown this evening at the Empire Theatre, with Billie Dove and Clive Brook in the leading roles. “On Your Toes,” the second attraction, is Reginald Denny's latest picture. He plays the part of a dancing teacher who became a boxer.
