INJURED AT CROSSING

TRAIN STRIKES CAR WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Press Association DUNEDIN, Sunday. In a railway crossing accident at the Rattray Street crossing at 7.55 last evening, Mrs. J. M. Paterson had one leg broken. . She was a passenger in a sedan car driven by Mr. Sinclair Sutherland, manager of the Dunedin branch of Wright, Stephenson and Company. Mrs. Sutherland Was also in the car. The driver apparently failed to hear the warning bell. The car was struck side on, turned completely round and carried across the road to a signalbox. Mrs. Paterson was taken to hospital but the others, who were cut by flying glass and suffered from shock, were able to proceed home. The car was almost completely wrecked. %
