TRUCK-DRIVER HURT
SEVERE NECK INJURY COLLISION WITH CHARABANC (Special to THE SUN) HAMILTON, Sunday. The driver of a motor-truck conveying footballers to Hamilton, Mr. Robert Walter Scott, of Auckland, met with a painful accident yesterday. The vehicle collided with a char-a-banc and hit a tree. The windscreen was broken, and pieces cut Mr. Scott’s neck, just missing the jugular vein. A doctor inserted 18 stitches. Mr. Scott is now recovering.
