MR. T. L. COWLISHAW Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. To-day. The death of Mr. Thomas Leonard Cowlishaw, aged 55, formerly a wellknown Canterbury rowing man and footballer, has occurred at Christchurch. MR. E. L. FELTON Mr. Eustace Llewellyn Felton, wno died at the Auckland Hospital last week, at the age of 45, was a son of the late Mr. George Felton, formerly stores manager for the Railways Department at Wellington, and a grandson of the late Major T. W. Cooke, of the 23rd Native Infantry (Indian Army). Mr. Felton served in the Great War from 1914 to 1918, and was with the 29th Division at Gallipoli. Recently he had been engaged by the Public Works Department at St. Heliers. The interment took place in the soldiers’ portion of Waikumete Cemetery. MRS. MARTHA JONES The death of Mrs. Martha Thompson Jones, wife of Mr. R. N. Jones, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, occurred at Gisborne on Saturday. Mrs. Jones was a well-known social worker in the district, but her health broke down during the war, when she devoted considerable energies to work for soldiers. She is survived by her - husband, three daughters, Mesdames Curran (Gisborne) and W. Smith (Templeton), and Miss Joyce Jones (Gisborne), and by one son, Mr. G. C. Jones (Gisborne). MR. W. WALTON Mr. William Walton, 8.A., aged 72, formerly a master at Christchurch Boys’ "High School and assistantmaster at Wellington College, has died in Christchurch.
